Full Job Description
Seeking an experienced construction materials technician for a full-time position. The job is based out of Oxford, Mississippi and requires day travel to various job sites with occasional overnight travel.
Duties Include
Field and/or laboratory testing, construction observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel). Communicate test results in a clear and concise manner with appropriate individuals. Work will require tabulation and calculation of laboratory results and preparation of field reports. Also includes maintaining and cleaning equipment, vehicles and work areas. Will occasionally require work with drill rig during geotechnical investigations. Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs. multiple times a day
Requirements
Minimum ACI Field Grade I. Minimum 1 year experience performing nuclear density testing of soils and concrete testing. High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Pay range is $20.00-$25.00 hr depending on experience.
