What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Materials Inspector (CMT) position at W3Global?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field testing and inspection of construction materials and related activities; accurately document test results and daily field observations.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
- Adhere to all directives, procedures, and quality standards set by Vision Engineering.
- Execute all job functions in compliance with company safety guidelines and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with managers, engineering staff, and contractors.
- Carry out assigned duties under the direction of the CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with inspection and testing of construction materials such as concrete, soils, mortar, grout, steel, and wood (asphalt testing experience is a plus).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience preferred.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain industry-related certifications (ACI, NICET, ICC preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
