This role requires strong leadership, scheduling discipline, and coordination across multiple trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to contract documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations for commercial construction projects
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
- Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and inspections
- Enforce jobsite safety plans and OSHA requirements
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and project quality standards
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors
- Track progress and report status to project managers and ownership
- Identify and resolve constructability issues proactively
- Oversee punch‑list completion and final inspections
- 7 years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent
- Experience with ground‑up and/or complex renovation projects
- Strong understanding of commercial building systems and sequencing
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Office, retail, industrial, municipal, or mixed‑use projects
- Restaurant construction
- Historical renovation
- Experience working with architects, engineers, and owner representatives
- Familiarity with Procore or similar project management tools
