Lead the Estimating Team
- Assign projects and balance workloads based on deadlines, project complexity, and team capacity
- Set clear expectations for estimate quality, completeness, and turnaround time
- Coach and develop estimators, giving feedback and addressing performance issues
- Serve as the team's first point of contact for questions, priorities, and estimating challenges
- Manage the bid schedule from initial opportunity review through final proposal submission
- Ensure estimates address scope, quantities, labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, exclusions, and project-specific risks
- Review estimates and proposals for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with company standards
- Maintain estimating standards, templates, pricing resources, and review procedures
- Work with operations and project management to feed lessons learned and actual project costs into future estimates
- Work with leadership to build a plan for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing bids
- Evaluate opportunities based on project fit, customer relationships, team capacity, schedule, risk, and company goals
- Recommend which opportunities to pursue and allocate estimating resources in line with the agreed plan
- Revisit priorities with leadership as opportunities, workloads, and business needs change
Salary : $125,000 - $165,000
