Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within local and regional markets
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners
- Manage sales pipeline, schedule meetings, and track activities using CRM tools
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute growth strategies and expand market presence
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets
- Actively participate in local networking and community engagement initiatives
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Demonstrated success in closing deals and achieving revenue targets
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working with CRM platforms
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
- Familiarity with the Coralville, Iowa City, or Des Moines business communities
- Background in B2B sales or professional services (IT, A/V, or security industry experience preferred)
- Active involvement in local networking or community organizations is a strong plus
