About The Opportunity

W3Global's client, a leading southeastern law firm with a national footprint, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its dynamic Bankruptcy & Restructuring team in Charlotte.

This Practice Represents a Broad Range Of Clients, Including

• Private equity sponsors & portfolio companies
• Financial institutions & direct lenders
• Corporate debtors
• Distressed investors & special situations funds
  
  

You'll advise clients through complex restructurings, distressed M&A transactions, and high-stakes strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the team, you will:

• Structure and negotiate sophisticated restructuring and distressed M&A transactions
• Manage multi-party deal workstreams under demanding timelines
• Deliver practical, business-oriented solutions to clients navigating financial distress
• Advise on risk mitigation, exit strategies, and transaction structuring
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and cross-disciplinary teams
  
  

This role offers exposure to some of the most compelling restructuring matters in the region and the opportunity to build a highly marketable skillset.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking attorneys with:

• 2-6 years of relevant experience
• Prior Bankruptcy or Restructuring experience strongly preferred
• BIGLAW experience in Finance, M&A, or related transactional areas is a plus
• Bankruptcy clerkships are highly regarded
• Strong record of drafting, negotiation, and client advisory work
• Exceptional academic credentials and professionalism
• Ability to manage complexity with precision and responsiveness
• Willingness to work onsite in Charlotte or relocate
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar preferred
• Demonstrated experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or transaction-heavy practices
