Audit Director

Our Client is seeking an experienced Audit Director to lead audit engagements and support the continued growth of its audit and accounting practice. This position is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, guiding engagement execution, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee audit engagements from start to finish.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to professional standards, regulations, and firm policies.
• Supervise, mentor, and support audit staff in their professional development.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support the continued expansion of the audit and accounting practice.
  
  

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Significant audit and accounting experience across multiple industries.
• Experience with not-for-profit engagements and single audits preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to research and apply relevant standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to foster client relationships and support business development.
