Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a firm partner on civil litigation defense matters.
- Manage an independent caseload, depending on experience and background.
- Handle court appearances and other litigation proceedings.
- Manage discovery and conduct depositions.
- Handle motion practice and participate in mediations.
- Communicate with clients regarding case matters and litigation progress.
- Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial-related activities.
- Must be a licensed attorney in the State of California.
- Civil litigation experience is preferred, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters and, depending on experience, an independent caseload.
- Strong interest in civil litigation defense.
- Ability to work collaboratively with firm partners and colleagues in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Trial experience or an interest in trial work is a plus.
- Salary: $130,000-$200,000 per year, depending on experience.
