A well-established Oakland civil litigation firm is hiring an Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience across a broad civil litigation practice, close mentorship from seasoned attorneys, and a real path to grow your career. You'll be exposed to a wide range of matters, including product liability, breach of contract, medical malpractice, employment law, business litigation, and torts.

What You'll Do
- Manage civil litigation matters from case intake through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery
- Appear at hearings, mediations, and court conferences
- Work directly with clients, partners, and experts
- 0-5 years of civil litigation experience (new attorneys welcome)
- Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Organization and the ability to manage multiple matters
- A collaborative, team-first approach
