This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Attorney seeking consistent courtroom exposure, hands-on litigation experience, and a structured yet flexible working environment. This position offers substantial courtroom involvement and end-to-end litigation exposure. You'll manage a contested caseload, appear regularly in court, and work closely with internal teams and clients. Notably, there are no billable hour requirements, allowing you to focus on quality legal work and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 base salary - Flexibility within the range based on experience and overall fit.

- Appear in court 3 days per week, representing clients in hearings, motions, trials, and arbitrations.
- Review new claims to ensure legal and procedural compliance.
- Draft, review, and approve pleadings (complaints, motions, responses, etc.).
- Manage a contested litigation caseload from initiation through resolution.
- Handle discovery, including preparing responses and overseeing counterclaims.
- Communicate with opposing counsel via written and telephonic correspondence.
- Develop case strategy and ensure adherence to court procedures and deadlines.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active Indiana Bar licence (required at the time of application)
- Prior litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with judges, court staff, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
- High level of accountability, organisation, and deadline management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with case management systems (e.g., Collection Master or equivalent) is advantageous
