Full Job Description
- An asphalt foreman manages asphalt paving projects from start to finish. They are responsible for the quality and safety of the work and ensure that projects are completed on time.
- Project planning: Collaborate with project managers to create schedules, allocate resources, and organize projects
- Training and supervision: Train and supervise the paving crew, and ensure they are working safely and efficiently
- Quality assurance:e Observe work in progress and provide guidance on techniques and procedures to ensure quality work
- Safety compliance:e Ensure that all work is done in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Communication: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Technical expertise: Use their knowledge of asphalt paving to ensure projects are completed successfully
