Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to provide financial insights.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of accounting or auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and audit support procedures.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or related industries.
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Hybrid work arrangement based in Syosset, NY.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
