Role Description:
The Warehouse/Inventory Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hampton, SC. This position is responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming materials, equipment, and supplies, as well as packing and preparing outgoing shipments.
Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate inventory records, labeling and stocking items, and ensuring parts are readily available for technicians and project teams.
The role also involves operating basic material-handling equipment, keeping the warehouse clean and safe, and following company procedures for shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The Warehouse/Inventory Specialist works closely with office staff and field personnel to support efficient job scheduling and customer service.
Qualifications:
Experience with Shipping & Receiving processes, including verifying orders, inspecting materials, and preparing documentation.
Skills in Packing and Unloading materials safely and efficiently, with attention to handling HVAC parts and equipment.
Knowledge of Inventory Control, including tracking stock levels, performing cycle counts, and organizing storage areas.
Ability to operate a Pallet Jack and other basic warehouse tools in a safe and compliant manner.
Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to use inventory or ERP software.
Reliable attendance, ability to lift and move materials as required, and commitment to safety procedures.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technicians, office staff, and management.
Prior warehouse or HVAC industry experience is beneficial; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
