Clinical Leadership and Oversight
- Lead, mentor, and support regional clinical teams, including Providers and Wound Technicians.
- Implement and monitor clinical protocols related to wound care and regenerative treatments, ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards.
- Oversee the quality of care delivered and ensure clinical practices meet or exceed regulatory and internal standards.
- Conduct regular chart reviews, audits, and outcome assessments to promote clinical excellence and compliance.
- Manage daily clinical operations across multiple facilities within the region.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal productivity.
- Collaborate with administrative and operations teams to maintain workflow efficiency, supply chain readiness, and proper clinical support for wound care services.
- Partner with the VP of Clinical Services and other regional leaders to enhance service delivery and expand access to regenerative therapies.
- Staff Development and Training
- Develop and implement training programs focused on regenerative medicine, wound care protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all clinical staff maintain current certifications, competencies, and continuing education.
- Organize and lead regional clinical meetings, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics, including patient outcomes, satisfaction scores, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives to enhance patient care, reduce complications, and improve operational outcomes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine care models and optimize treatment delivery.
- Ensure all clinical operations comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Oversee infection control protocols and safety procedures to maintain a secure patient care environment.
- Manage regional clinical incidents, patient complaints, and regulatory inspections in collaboration with leadership.
- Patient and Provider Relations Serve as the primary clinical representative for the region, fostering positive relationships with patients, providers, and facilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans that leverage regenerative therapies for chronic wound management.
- Maintain strong partnerships with regional hospitals, long-term care facilities, and referring providers to expand patient access.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify opportunities for service expansion and patient growth.
- Stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and evolving standards of care in wound management and regenerative medicine.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to expand clinical footprint within the assigned region.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION
Required
- Current, active clinical license (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in wound care or related specialty.
- At least 2 years of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in clinical operations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Experience with regenerative medicine or advanced wound care therapies.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g.,NetHealth).
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align clinical operations with organizational goals.
- Skilled in data analysis, quality improvement, and process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong provider and facility relationships.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk during facility visits.
- Must be able to travel frequently between regional clinic sites.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Work performed in clinical and administrative environments.
- Regular travel within the assigned region required.
