Logistics Coordinator (International Imports and Exports)

Job Summary:-

• We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to- end supply chain operations.

• This role oversees international import and export shipments, ensures compliance and efficiency, and drives timely delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in global freight forwarding, strong partnerships with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, and proven mastery of domestic final-mile delivery networks.

Key Responsibilities:-

Global Freight Management:-

• Coordinate international import and export shipments across ocean, air, and overland routes.

• Prepare, review, and process critical shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.

• Ensure full compliance with customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.

3PL & Carrier Relations:-

• Manage and audit relationships with 3PL providers and carriers.

• Proactively resolve transit delays, customs holds, and shipping discrepancies.

• Negotiate rates and service levels to optimize cost and performance.

Final-Mile Delivery and Distribution:-

• Oversee domestic final-mile logistics to ensure on-time delivery to end customers or distribution centers.

• Route and schedule local couriers, less-than-truckload (LTL), and full-truckload (FTL) carriers.

• Track delivery metrics and implement corrective actions for missed or damaged shipments.

Data Analysis & Reporting:-

• Use advanced Excel functions to track freight spend, analyze lane performance, and build logistics dashboards.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process bottlenecks through regular data analysis.

• Provide clear, actionable reporting to leadership.

Required Qualifications:-

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, or global logistics management.

• Proven track record of managing and auditing third-party logistics (3PL)providers.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, and data visualization).

• Deep understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance processes, and final-mile delivery networks.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex supply chain disruptions under pressure.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with global vendors and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Experience with modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

• Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or equivalent supply chain certification.
