Founding Growth & Content Marketer Full-Time | Mid-Level IC | Reports to FoundersAbout the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to become the first marketing hire at a fast-paced marketplace startup. You will own marketing end-to-end, driving growth across both sides of the marketplace-talent (supply) and companies (demand). The role blends growth, content, SEO, experimentation, and brand-building, with a strong bias toward fast execution and measurable impact.What You'll DoGrowth & AcquisitionBuild and run cold email programs targeting companies (and selectively top talent).Treat outbound as a scientific process: list building, copywriting, A/B testing, optimization.Own deliverability, domain warming, and inbox setup.Use tools like Apollo, Outreach, or Smartlead for prospecting and sequencing.Launch and optimize affordable paid channels (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.).Maintain an experiment pipeline across ads, landing pages, email, and funnel flows.Content & BrandProduce content consistently: blogs, email/newsletters, social posts, case studies, and simple assets.Distribute across LinkedIn, email, website, and organic channels.Handle light design (Figma/Canva) and ensure strong brand voice and aesthetics.Build and execute a content SEO strategy to increase rankings and conversions.Marketplace GrowthDrive growth on both marketplace sides:• Talent sign-ups and activation• Company demand and inboundTrack KPIs across the funnel: traffic, rankings, engagement, demos booked, sign-ups.Run partnerships, backlinks, collaborations, and occasional events/webinars.Turn product and recruiting insights into public-facing stories.What You Bring2-4 years of hands-on content marketing experience 2-7 total years in B2B or marketplace marketing.Strong writing portfolio (blogs, email, social, case studies).Experience with cold outbound and email copywriting.Familiarity with sales/marketing automation tools and email infra (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).Ability to create simple, clean visuals in Figma/Canva.Deep working knowledge of SEO and analytics.Fast execution, experimentation mindset, and comfort in early-stage environments.Detail-oriented, data-driven, and able to work independently with high ownership.Company DescriptionW3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
