About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join an in-house design team and support residential projects from concept through construction. This role involves working on a variety of homes ranging from thoughtfully designed mid-size residences to fully custom builds.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the design and construction teams to produce accurate, detailed construction documents and ensure all drawings are coordinated, clear, and ready for execution.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents

• Develop and modify residential home plans for both production and custom homes

• Coordinate drawings across disciplines to ensure consistency and accuracy

• Revise plans based on project feedback, permitting requirements, and construction markups

• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an Architectural Drafter in residential homebuilding

• Experience working on both production and custom residential homes

• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building codes, and permit documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to interpret markups and sketches and translate them into clean, buildable drawing sets

Required Software Skills

Proficiency in the following programs is required:

• AutoCAD

• Revit

• Bluebeam

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and switching between platforms throughout the day.
