The primary responsibility of this position is to assist buyers with the coordinating of activities involved with the procuring of goods and services such as products, equipment, and supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.
Assists buyers and other Purchasing personnel in researching and answering order questions, expediting and documenting purchase order deliveries. Prepares drop shipment purchase orders and submits to suppliers. Assists buyers in preparing purchase orders and faxing them to suppliers. Inputs and maintains current vendor costs in pricing database. Maintains item records and builds new products, vendor data, notes, etc. Confirms purchase order confirmations and follows up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery. Other duties may be assigned.
