Essential Functions
- Greet and assist prospective residents; schedule and conduct property tours
- Lease apartments to meet or exceed community leasing goals
- Clearly explain lease terms, policies, and community guidelines
- Prepare, process, and complete leasing paperwork accurately (applications, leases, move-in packets)
- Collect rent, deposits, and other move-in funds
- Maintain detailed knowledge of pricing, availability, lease expirations, and vacancies
- Conduct follow-up calls, emails, and thank-you notes to prospects
- Assist with marketing efforts, promotions, and advertising initiatives
- Monitor advertising effectiveness and prepare competitive market surveys
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Inspect vacant units to ensure readiness for showings
- Foster positive resident relationships and support renewal programs
- Coordinate service requests and communicate with the Maintenance team
- Assist with resident events, newsletters, and community engagement
- Maintain curb appeal and overall office presentation
- Attend trainings, seminars, and local networking events
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
✔ High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework preferred)
✔ Minimum 1 year of sales experience; leasing or customer service experience strongly preferred
✔ Strong communication, organization, and closing skills
✔ Computer proficiency required (Microsoft Office; AppFolio experience a plus)
✔ Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 lbs
- Office and residential property environment
