At The Raleigh House at The Ranch, we’re looking for a Therapist who brings clinical skill, authenticity, curiosity, and compassion to the work, and who genuinely wants to help clients move forward.
As a Therapist at The Ranch in Watkins, Colorado, you’ll provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults navigating mental health, substance use, and co-occurring challenges within a residential treatment setting.

The Ranch is a residential behavioral health setting where clients have the space, structure, and support to step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on their recovery.We take a whole-person approach to behavioral health treatment. Mental health and substance use often intersect in complex ways, and we believe both deserve thoughtful, intentional care.Our clinical approach combines evidence-based therapies with experiential and holistic programming. Depending on the client’s needs, treatment may include:
- Trauma-focused therapies
- CBT and DBT
- Schema Therapy
- EMDR
- Somatic approaches
- Mindfulness and yoga
- Nutritional counseling
- Experiential interventions
What You’ll Do
As a Therapist at The Ranch, your work will include:
- Providing individual therapy based on each client’s clinical needs and treatment goals
- Facilitating group therapy that is structured, engaging, and clinically meaningful
- Providing family therapy to strengthen communication, relationships, and recovery support
- Completing clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, medical providers, case managers, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the treatment team
- Using evidence-based interventions within your training, experience, and scope of practice
- Helping clients recognize connections between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, trauma, relationships, and substance use
- Teaching practical skills for coping, emotional regulation, communication, and recovery
- Supporting clients as they work through barriers such as shame, avoidance, grief, trauma, and ambivalence
- Appropriately challenging unhealthy patterns while maintaining empathy, safety, and therapeutic boundaries
- Adapting your approach to the needs of the client, family, or group rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approac
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Valid licensure in the state of CO in good standing (LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, MFTC, LAC
- Experience working with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders preferred
- Experience in residential, PHP, IOP, or other behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional, ethical, and therapeutic boundaries
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
