We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who is highly organized and experienced in dental insurance and billing coordination, while also helping ensure the front office runs smoothly.

Position Overview

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing patient accounts, insurance coordination, and billing processes, while also serving as a welcoming first point of contact for patients. This position works closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure accurate billing, clear communication with patients, and an efficient daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate dental insurance verification, eligibility, and benefits for patients
• Process insurance claims and assist with billing and payment coordination
• Maintain accurate patient accounts and assist patients with billing questions
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding insurance coverage and treatment costs
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain and update dental health records
• Coordinate communication between patients, dentist, and clinical team
• Help maintain office organization and supply levels
• Support a clean, welcoming office environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience with dental insurance, billing, or patient accounts strongly preferred
• Previous dental or healthcare office experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (experience with scheduling or dental software is helpful)
• Professional, reliable, and friendly demeanor

Compensation & Benefits

• $18 – $24 per hour depending on experience
• 401(k) match
• Monday–Thursday schedule (3-day weekends!)
