Skilled Construction Laborer

East Hartford, CT  •  Full-Time  •  Year-Round  •  $25–$30 / hour

We build things. We restore things. And we move fast. W&K Restoration is a growing, vertically integrated restoration company based in Connecticut — and we’re looking for a hands-on tradesperson who knows their way around a jobsite and takes real pride in the work they leave behind.

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

·     Sheetrock — hanging, taping, finishing

·     Interior painting — walls, trim, doors

·     Carpentry — framing, trim, doors, molding

·     Flooring installation — hardwood, LVP, tile

·     Demo and debris removal

·     Work orders from start to punch list

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

·     2 years of hands-on experience in at least two trades (sheetrock, painting, carpentry, flooring — not just demo)

·     Can read a scope of work and execute independently without being walked through every step

·     Valid CT driver’s license — you’ll be driving a company truck to job sites daily

·     Your own hand tools; we supply the heavy stuff and specialty equipment

·     You show up on time, take care of company equipment, and leave the job cleaner than you found it

·     Comfortable working in occupied residential units and interacting professionally with homeowners
