Description
As a Paint Technician, you are responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint and other coating materials, and ensuring that the final product meets quality standards. In addition to, responsible for cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, paint booths and managing inventory of supplies. Paint technicians are expected to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in a painting or finishing role.
A strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, repair and preparation tasks including sanding, painting, applying decals, finish polishing techniques, painting tool and equipment maintenance.
Gel coat application and repair is a plus.
Excellent communication and ability to work with a team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequently required to lift and/or move/push up to 75 pounds.
