We are seeking motivated Lamination Technicians to build high-quality fiberglass and carbon fiber boats. This hands-on position involves fiberglass layup, epoxy lamination, vacuum infusion, finishing, repairs, and general composite manufacturing processes. Prior composite manufacturing experience is preferred but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn. A successful candidate is a dependable, safety-conscious individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building premium boats while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality.
Qualifications:Key Responsibilities
- Perform fiberglass and composite lamination processes
- Execute vacuum infusion and resin bagging
- Prepare molds, tooling, and production materials
- Trim, sand, fair, and finish composite parts
- Complete repairs and refinishing as needed
- Follow work instructions and quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Properly use PPE and follow safety procedures
- Assist with material handling and inventory control
Qualifications
- Experience in fiberglass, composite manufacturing, marine or related production environments preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and use basic hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs
