W Financial is a New York based commercial real estate lender specializing in time-sensitive bridge loans. W Financial targets loan scenarios that cannot be adequately handled by traditional lending resources either due to time constraints, deal complexity or the transitional nature of the asset.
Job Description:
W Financial is seeking a motivated analyst to participate in all aspects of the underwriting, due diligence, evaluation, screening and sourcing of new lending opportunities. The analyst will work closely with the loan origination team and have tremendous exposure analyzing and valuing a diverse array of real estate properties located nationwide. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Underwriting real estate lending opportunities
- Conduct market research
- Complete detailed loan write-ups for each transaction that closes
- Accompany senior lending team members on property inspections.
- Maintaining and tracking of due diligence associated with existing portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required Real Estate, Real Estate Finance or related field preferred
- A minimum of 1 year related experience in the Real Estate Industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills with experience underwriting real estate transactions
- Ability to work well as a team member as well as independently.
