Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a House Cleaner and bring sparkle and freshness to our clients' homes! This role includes maintaining the cleanliness standards, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for clients and staff across the state of Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping or janitorial cleaning, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with cleanliness as our highest standard. This is a 1099 position with varying hours.
Responsibilities
- Driving yourself to and from the job location(s).
- Perform general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal from residential settings
- Clean with and dispose of chemicals that contain bleach or other hazardous materials.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and report shortages promptly.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients, addressing their specific needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage residential cleaning schedules effectively, prioritizing tasks to maximize efficiency without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- A working vehicle, and a valid driver’s license.
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required, especially in residential environments.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and supplies, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and disinfectants.
- Experience in specialized cleaning services such as upholstery or deep-cleaning projects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
