Position Summary
W&B Service Company is seeking an experienced Mobile Carrier Refrigeration Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Carrier transport refrigeration units in the field. This position operates a company-provided service truck and provides on-site support to customers, minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units on trucks and trailers
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues
- Complete service documentation and repair orders accurately
- Provide professional customer service on-site
- Maintain service truck inventory and tools
- Follow all company and safety procedures
- Participate in after-hours or on-call rotations
Qualifications
- Experience working on transport refrigeration units
- Past Mobile technician experience preferred
- 608/608 EPA certification required
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
