Compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Manager needed for Circle the City Pharmacy, a specialty pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities

- Assist the Regional Manager and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of VytlOne
- Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
- Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
- Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
- Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
- Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations.
- Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current Arizona Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 3 years of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy management experience;
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion to help the underserved and homeless patient populations.
