Oracle DBA Maturity & Production Readiness
Demonstrates the maturity and expertise required to handle production support effectively, strictly adhering to established processes that are critical for implementing and managing changes in the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Manage maintenance schedules, prepare incident and RCA reports, and provide on-call production support.
Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, contribute to the knowledge base, and actively participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Process Optimization: Perform workload analysis, identify process improvements, and support efficient task allocation.
Collaboration: Enable effective task distribution, provide cross-team support, and document issue resolutions.
Maintenance & Monitoring: Conduct routine database health checks, apply patches, and continuously monitor system performance.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 support for database-related issues, including root cause analysis and timely resolution.
Backup & Recovery: Perform and manage regular database backups, recovery activities, and patching processes.
