What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) position at VW CONNECT?
NO FORKLIFT OPERATORS PLEASE
Position available for a DRY UTILITY Operator to join our Dry Utility Underground Division (trenching backfilling, installing electrical conduit, cox line, etc.).
MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A 316 EXCAVATOR OR LARGER
MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE 500LF (LINEAR FEET) MINIMUM PER DAY.
Minimum of 2 years operating experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience operating excavators as well as other heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and water trucks in a construction environment
- Hands-on experience working with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
Experience
- Operating 2 years (required)
- Excavator, Backhoe or Loader - 1 year (required)
Start Pay $30/hour based on experience
