Your Responsibilities:
- Independent responsibility for occupational safety on one of our highly complex industrial plant construction projects
- Implementation and monitoring of HSSE guidelines in accordance with applicable standards
- Independent identification and management of environmental, health, and safety risks
- Responsible for establishing HSSE management systems within our projects according to internal requirements and specific customer standards
- Support of training and awareness programs for internal and external employees as well as for companies involved in our projects
- Regular monitoring and reporting of internal and external EHS performance, and promoting measures for continuous improvement of EHS performance
- Collaboration with authorities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve EHS objectives
Your Qualifications:
- Completed technical training as a technician or master craftsperson in construction or building services engineering – alternatively, a comparable qualification in occupational safety, e.g., certified safety specialist or safety and health coordinator
- Several years of project experience (at least 3–5 years) on construction sites in large-scale plant engineering, life sciences, chemical industry, or power plant engineering, as well as knowledge of project execution models
- Experience in developing HazID/HazOp analyses and conducting related workshops is desirable
- High willingness to travel between construction sites within US
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Experience in managing and coordinating internal and external teams, combined with strong assertiveness, confident communication, motivational skills, and the ability to foster efficient collaboration
