Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills, including electrical work, mechanical knowledge, and the use of programmable logic controllers. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on production equipment
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Lead and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience in welding is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have AMT degree at minimum, with consideration given to those candidates with 5 years in a process technician role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
