Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Government & Commercial Contracts Compliance, based in Tacoma, WA. The Director of Government & Commercial Contracts Compliance is responsible for leading and managing the company's enterprise-wide contracts compliance program, ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards applicable to a defense contractor operating in a complex manufacturing environment. Reporting to the General Counsel and working closely with senior management and the Corporate Compliance Committee, the role oversees the design, implementation, and enforcement of compliance protocols related to commercial contracts and U.S. government contracting, export controls, internal auditing, and company-wide ethical conduct.
As the principal authority on regulatory compliance, this position collaborates with legal, supply chain, operations, human resources, and executive leadership to proactively manage compliance risks and foster a culture of integrity. This role is particularly focused on ensuring operational compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and U.S. export control laws throughout the lifecycle of manufacturing and contractual activities.
