They input work orders, PM's, and time sheet information into the appropriate system. They collaborate with other departments and others within the maintenance department to make sure parts are ordered and to document work orders are complete.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Participate in special activities, projects and programs to support Vulcan Metals safety, quality and productivity goals
- Enter maintenance labor into ERP and work order systems
- Create and enter work orders in work order system
- Print PM's and edit/add/delete PM's
- Research and obtain quotes for parts as needed
- Enter requisitions into system
- Participate in the inventory and organization of maintenance storage areas
- Alert Plant Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor to any safety or quality issues needing attention
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisor and planner regarding upcoming work and required parts for the work
- Develop and participate in the management of spare parts inventory systems and VMI programs
- Receive parts and materials physically and electronically, assign inventory numbers to all incoming and existing parts
- Other duties as assigned or requested
- Ability to perform administrative tasks
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years' experience working in an office or maintenance administration role
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be knowledgeable with the use of Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP and maintenance management systems, preferred
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Good computer skills
- Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills at all levels
- Effective time management and organizational ability
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, requirements/specifications, and technical documents
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend and twist
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally & 5 to 10 lbs. repetitively for short durations
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
