What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Manager position at VUEPOINT DIAGNOSTICS, LLC?
The Dispatch Manager leads a team of dispatchers operating 24/7 to ensure seamless service for our radiology and ultrasound clients across the state. In addition to performing Dispatch Technician duties, this role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the dispatch team. The Dispatch Manager sets the standard for excellence, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality in all dispatch activities. This position also collaborates closely with other departments to maintain clear communication and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure all dispatcher tasks are completed accurately and on time.
· Provide clients with assistance for system access and troubleshoot issues.
· Manage and maintain dispatch team schedules to support 24/7 operations.
· Coordinate coverage for call-ins and unexpected absences.
· Escalate unresolved issues to leadership promptly and professionally.
· Prepare and deliver reports as requested by management.
· Complete QA audits of calls and communication of the team to our clients.
· Offer additional training and coaching to Dispatch Technicians when needed.
· Assign technologists to appropriate locations based on geography and diagnostic requirements.
· Answer and route incoming calls efficiently and courteously.
· Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal leadership.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of VuePoint Diagnostics policies and procedures.
· Promote quality and customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
· Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Highschool education or equivalent required
· Minimum 3-year previous experience with customer service
· Previous leadership experience preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
· Proficient typing skills (minimum 35 wpm).
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Internet Explorer; Outlook, IOS.
