The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is now searching for candidates with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences to join our team as temporary Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the summer.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Providing guidance to and actively engaging with adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities in a variety of vocational and social settings
- Accompanying individuals to off-site activities
- Assisting individuals with personal care responsibilities and administering medications based on the individual's needs
- Documenting individual's information as required by the Person-Centered Service Plan
- Maintaining flexibility and composure in an ever-changing work environment
- Completing the required competency-based modules as dictated by the North Dakota Department of Human Service, Developmental Disabilities Division.
Other duties not listed above may be assigned.
