Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Sarasota, FL. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, warmly greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, and managing the front desk area. Daily responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining visitor logs, scheduling and confirming appointments, and supporting showroom traffic flow. The role also involves performing basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, document preparation, and updating records to support office operations. The Receptionist will collaborate with internal teams to relay messages promptly, provide accurate product or showroom information to callers and visitors, and ensure a professional, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to interact professionally with visitors, clients, and team members.
- Front desk and office support experience, including Receptionist Duties and Clerical Skills such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Professional Phone Etiquette, with experience answering, screening, and routing calls, and taking accurate messages.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets, and office software) and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and organization, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role preferred; experience in construction, design, or building materials is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration or customer service is beneficial.
