Receptionist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Receptionist to provide contract coverage at our North Venice, Florida location. This is a Contract position requiring excellent organizational and communication skills to manage day-to-day front desk operations effectively. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic workplace within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and clients as they arrive at the office.
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
• Sort, organize, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area to reflect a detail-oriented environment.
• Provide support in administrative tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with the current receptionist for training and guidance on office procedures.
• Ensure seamless communication between departments by directing calls and inquiries appropriately.
• Uphold a business casual dress code, adhering to company standards.
• Assist with basic office operations during the receptionist's absence.
• Proven experience in receptionist duties, including managing multi-line phone systems.
• Strong organizational skills to handle mail sorting and administrative tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new procedures.
• Familiarity with switchboard operations and inbound call management.
• Detail-oriented approach and presentation suitable for a construction industry setting.
• Availability to work part-time hours as required for coverage.
• Comfortable adhering to a business casual dress code.
