Role Description
We are seeking a General Manager to oversee the operations, staff management, and strategic direction of VRTX Fitness. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Missoula, MT. The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining an exceptional member experience, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing budgets and financial performance, leading marketing and membership initiatives, and ensuring the development and success of team members. The role requires a proactive attitude, strong leadership, and a commitment to fostering a positive and motivating fitness environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills in team management and staff development
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, operations management, and financial analysis
- Experience in designing and executing marketing strategies, with knowledge of customer engagement and retention initiatives
- Passion for health, fitness, and creating an engaging member experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site in Missoula, MT, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the facility
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Familiarity with health and fitness industry trends and best practices is a plus
