We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our shredding operations in Overland, MO. This role is perfect for a strong leader who thrives on building efficient teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring excellent customer service.

What You'll Do

As the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing daily shred operations, driving quality improvements, and leading your team to success. Your responsibilities include:

Leadership & People Development

• Hire, train, and coach team members to reach their full potential.
   
• Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational needs.
   
• Enforce company policies while creating a safe, supportive work environment.
   

Operational Excellence

• Partner with leadership to track and improve quality programs.
   
• Manage budgets, control costs, and provide accurate reporting.
   
• Maintain facility standards, vehicles, and equipment.
   
• Oversee daily shred operations, audit processes, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
   

Customer Impact

• Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving issues quickly and professionally.
   
• Represent VRC with integrity and a solutions-focused mindset during customer interactions.

Work environment: Must be able to tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to reach, handle, carry, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving of material.

Education and eligibility requirements:

• Supervisory experience (3-5 years preferred)
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and clean background check
• High school diploma
• Forklift certification
• Must pass drug screen
