The responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:

Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Advisory

• Lead an established portfolio of closely held business tax clients, primarily within construction, manufacturing, real estate, and distribution industries
• Provide forward-looking tax planning and advisory support aligned with each client’s business goals
• Maintain and deepen client relationships while identifying additional ways to add value beyond compliance
• Oversee and review complex tax work, including business, personal, and trust filings, and key transactions

Firm Leadership & Collaboration

• Contribute to firmwide strategy and growth initiatives as an active member of the Kenosha leadership team
• Partner across service lines to deliver integrated solutions and a seamless client experience
• Support team development by providing guidance, feedback, and day-to-day leadership

Growth & Market Presence

• Build on existing relationships to drive organic growth within key industries
• Stay active in relevant business and community networks to enhance the firm’s visibility
• Play a role in shaping the direction and continued evolution of the tax practice

Requirements

• Certified Public Accounting license
• 10 years of public accounting experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
• Background serving closely held businesses, particularly in the construction and manufacturing industries
• Strong technical knowledge with tax planning and compliance for pass-through entities and individuals
• Proven ability to manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism
• Leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and team development
• Business-minded approach with an interest in contributing to firm growth and long-term success
• Clear and effective communicator, both internally and externally
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in client work
