The following responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- Oversee the preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication, strategic insights, and responsive service
- Work with clients to address their internal needs, including cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue recognition, and various metrics related to business operations
- Lead, review, and support staff in performing tax compliance, financial reporting, and planning engagements, and advisory services
- Develop, mentor, and evaluate CAAS associates to support their professional growth and technical proficiency
- Oversee and execute special projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through process improvements, automation, and best practice implementation
Requirements
- 4 years of experience providing accounting services in public accounting
- 1 years of proven supervisory or mentor experience
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or equivalent
- Must possess the necessary credit hours to be eligible for CPA licensure
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Ability to foster client relationships across various industries
- Experience with Microsoft 365 with a strong understanding of Excel and Word
- Deep understanding of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
- Ability to address requests from clients and the firm in a timely, precise, and professional manner
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective in both independent work and team collaboration
- Ability to consistently perform services with integrity, reliability, and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Passion for problem-solving and being a technical resource for team members
- Knowledge in Microsoft Teams and Zoom

Vrakas CPAs Advisors offers ambitious compensation potential, 401K, profit sharing, comprehensive insurance benefits, and competitive vacation and PTO policies. Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance. The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$110,000. Individual salaries are determined after consideration of numerous factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
