The Equipment Maintenance & Safety Inspector is to ensure the operational integrity of safety equipment, including eye-wash stations and emergency response devices, and uphold compliance with safety regulations while contributing to a culture of safety within the hospital.
Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 7a-3p
Responsibilities
Through examination and testing of all designated Daily/Weekly eye-wash stations.
Proper PPE equipment training and adherence to onsite protocols.
Weekly check-in with Client and Manager.
Hands on data training, tablet device to capture usage and test parameters.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, hospital policies, and industry standards, and provide documentation for compliance audits.
Qualifications:
Years of Experience: Entry Level
Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written
Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Be able to pass a criminal background check
Be able to walk throughout the hospital
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet
Ability to stand for a long period of time, stooping and bending at the waist
Strong customer service background
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to operate a phone
Basic computer skills
