Position Summary
This position will be a strong office administrative support resource to the Manager while also aiding in providing emergency medical response and healthcare attention to employees.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To render care to employees for occupational injuries and illnesses based upon assessment, knowledge, and medical directives. Must stay abreast of all current state and federal health and safety regulations.
To obtain and maintain health and work histories as required by or protocols, OSHA and DOT.
Perform drug/alcohol screening of all new hires, perform required annual hearing tests, and testing of new hires.
To maintain a system of health records consistent with HIPAA regulations.
To work with Medical Manager on coordination of the company wellness program
To monitor the transfer or return to work of an employee on restricted duty.
To monitor company trends regarding health care usage and communicate ideas with Medical Manager.

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Must be very safety oriented.
Must be able to work alone and make decisions in urgent situations.
Must have good attendance.
Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
Education, Training, and Certifications
High school diploma/experience in emergency response and/or Medical related field
CPR Certification-Will Train in house
Bat technician- Will train in house
DOT drug collector-Will train in house
EMT- Preferred or willing to obtain within one year.
Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist- Obtain within a year of employment
Experience
One to two years related experience
