Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, delivering timely, professional, and proactive service.
• Manage the day-to-day servicing of a book of business, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, and coverage-related requests.
• Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers, preparing submissions and obtaining competitive coverage and pricing options.
• Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, reviewing exposures, and preparing renewal proposals.
• Provide administrative and service support for complex accounts and clients requiring a higher level of account management.
• Identify potential coverage gaps, service concerns, account issues, escalating matters and communicating key developments to Producers, Account Executives, and leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain current knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting requirements, policy provisions, carrier appetites, and industry trends.
Requirements
- New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- 3 Years of Commercial Account Management insurance experience required
- Exceptional written & verbal communication & listening skills
- Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel, power point) insurance management system knowledge. Applied Systems EPIC preferred. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft word, excel and outlook preferred
- Must be highly self-motivated, and must possess a willingness to work independently or as a team
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
