Every day, our team keeps products moving and supports customers, sales representatives, and operations across Iowa. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant who enjoys variety, thrives on helping others, and takes pride in keeping an office running efficiently.

About the Role

As our Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and team members. You'll balance customer service with office administration while supporting multiple departments throughout the day.

What You'll Be Doing

• Answer inbound calls and warmly welcome customers and visitors
• Assist customers with questions, invoice requests, and order support
• Enter customer and product information accurately into company systems
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks and reporting
• Maintain an organized front office, lobby, conference rooms, and office supplies
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and shipping
• Maintain accurate records while assisting with various office projects
Represent Voss Distributing professionally in every customer interaction

What We're Looking For

• 2 years of customer service experience
• Previous office or administrative experience preferred
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Organized, dependable, and professional
• Comfortable learning multiple software systems
• Able to work 100% on-site in Des Moines, IA
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
