Description: We are seeking a Nurse Educator to join our team who will be responsible for:
- Designing, teaching, evaluating and implementing educational programs for all levels of nursing personnel and ancillary staff in a variety of clinical areas.
Will assist the facility in compliance of regulatory standards and quality improvement.
Monitoring, implementing mandatory educational platforms such as *HealthStream that enhance competencies, certifications and CEU for staff members.
Overseeing the performance and progress of nursing orientee with collaboration from nurse manager.
Assess/developing educational programs that are consist with evidence-based care.
Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Management to ensure quality and performance issues are resolved.
- Educational programs to align with the facilities mission, vision and core values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current NJ RN licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, specialty certification preferred (Master's Degree preferred)
- Minimum three years pediatric nursing experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Prior nursing educator experience preferred
