What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern - DevOps (Summer 2027) position at Vontier Corporation?
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Collaborate and train with other software engineers
Learn best practices, coding standards, and SWE tools
Manage a project start to finish - including solution definition, documentation, jira management, development, code review process, etc.
WHO YOU ARE
Current student in either a related bachelor's or master's program
Familiarity with C , Java, or other object-oriented programming language
Familiarity with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, Github
Interest in DevOps Engineering and infrastructure work
Ability to collaborate with other SWEs
Hourly rates are as follows:
Sophomore:$23/hour
Junior: $24/hour
Senior: $27/hour
Master's: $27/hour
