Job Overview

Volution Development Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Foreman to lead field operations on commercial construction projects—specifically within the restaurant and retail sectors. This position is ideal for a boots-on-the-ground leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record in both ground-up and interior buildout projects. As a core member of our field team, you’ll coordinate crews, enforce safety, manage execution, and communicate effectively with project management and ownership to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day field operations on commercial job sites

• Manage crews, subcontractors, and trades to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery

• Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and OSHA compliance

• Review and interpret drawings, scopes, and construction documents

• Coordinate schedules, site logistics, deliveries, and inspections

• Provide clear communication with Project Managers and company leadership

• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, updates, and field photos

• Oversee quality control and ensure work is performed to plans and specifications

• Mentor and support field staff to foster a productive and positive jobsite culture

Qualifications

• Must-Have:

  • 5 years of commercial construction experience (non-negotiable)

  • Proven leadership experience as a Foreman on retail or restaurant construction sites

  • Ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and execute plans effectively

  • Strong communication skills for interaction with PMs, ownership, and field staff

  • Experience with both interior build-outs and ground-up construction

  • Ability to read plans and coordinate multiple trades

  • Strong safety awareness and documentation habits

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Dallas-area construction practices and subcontractor networks

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

  • Experience with project management platforms like Procore or Buildertrend

Schedule

• Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Location
