POSITION TITLE: Recovery Support Technician
LOCATION: Louisville, KY
STATUS: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Recovery Support Tech Supervisor

The Recovery Support Technician is responsible for transporting program participants to and from various locations as needed. These services may include transport to and from court, doctor’s appointments, program activities, treatment, and any other services deemed appropriate by staff. Recovery Support Driver and Technician may also be asked to cover duties inside the Recovery Community Center. These duties may include helping to set up for events that will be held on site, monitoring the day to day operations if needed. The Recovery Support Technician’s primary responsibility is transporting and providing a safe and secure ride for all participants. The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Must pass background check and driver record check. Minimum of 1 year of sobriety

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:
- Drive participants to and from meetings, groups, and appointments as needed.
- Maintain operational control of the facility in the absence of senior staff.
- Ensure client’s compliance with Volunteers of America policies and rules.
- Maintain van sign-in/sign-out log.
- Monitor clients in van and facility and their behavior.
- Complete required documentation.
- Attend training and supervision.
- Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Provide transportation for clients.
- Provide childcare.
- Observe and report maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee.
Salary : $14 - $15
